Motorcycle lifts: Your key to convenient maintenance

Many motorcyclists not only love hours of cruising, but also like to tinker with their own bike. The most important thing when tinkering is to ensure that your motorcycle is correctly and securely positioned. In the rarest of cases, the main or side stand is sufficient for this. To minimise the risk during repairs and optimisations, we recommend that you use a ConStands work stand. The ConStands range includes a wide selection of different motorcycle lifts, such as centre stands, motorcycle rockers and lifting platforms. If you are not yet sure which type of motorcycle lift you need for work, transport or conversion, you can simply enter your motorcycle model in our Bike-Finder. Our system will then show you the suitable motorcycle stand for your model.

Why a motorcycle lift is indispensable

  • Ergonomic working: With a lift, you can raise your motorcycle to a comfortable working height so that you no longer have to work hunched over or in uncomfortable positions.
  • Safety: A sturdy lift ensures that your motorcycle is safe and secure while you work on it. This minimises the risk of accidents and damage.
  • Convenience: Whether you're an experienced mechanic or a casual tinkerer, a lift makes maintaining your motorcycle much more convenient and efficient.
  • Versatility: Modern lifts are often versatile and suitable for different motorcycle types and sizes.

The right lift for your needs

When choosing the right lift, there are a few important factors to consider:

  • Load capacity: Make sure that the lift can handle the load capacity of your motorcycle without any problems.
  • Lifting height: The lifting height determines how high you can raise your motorcycle.
  • Stability: A sturdy construction and a wide base are crucial for the stability of the lift.
  • Operation: There are hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical lifts. Choose the type of operation that suits you best.
  • Mobility: If you want to move the lift more often, you should consider wheels or rollers.

A more comfortable work experience with a ConStands lift

Depending on the model, you can jack up your motorbike between 10 cm and 40 cm with ConStands lifts. A comfortable working height is not only helpful if you are working on your bike for a long time. It also allows you to get to hard-to-reach places on the underside of your motorbike. With a maximum weight of up to 680 kilograms, the Motea motorcycle lift can easily jack up a Fat Boy (approx. 400 kilograms with a full tank). The ConStands motorcycle lifts are developed to the highest quality standards. Quality and durability are particularly important to us. The motorcycle lifts are therefore made of solid, durable and high-quality materials. Some models also have wheels to make manoeuvring easier. So you can also use them as a manoeuvring aid without any problems.

The ConStands range includes lifts in a variety of designs. If you are looking for a small lift with a high load capacity, for example, we recommend a Mini-Lift Mover. You can lift your motorcycle with the help of a crank. If you prefer to use a hydraulic lift with a larger contact area, we recommend one of our Midlifter models. The hydraulic lifts ‘Midlifter’ are equipped with a foot pedal for easy lifting and a guide rod for manoeuvring. The Midlift L lift, for example, can carry up to 680 kilograms and is therefore also suitable for particularly heavy motorcycles.

How often do you use the motorcycle lift?

Do you work on your motorcycle regularly? Then a ConStands assembly platform for motorcycles is definitely worth buying. It significantly relieves the strain on your back and secures your motorcycle from falling over while you work on it. However, a lifting platform is not only useful for repairs or customisation. You can also use it for maintenance or for winter storage. Storing your bike on a lift during the winter, for example, minimises the strain on the tyres. In the same way, the other motorcycle components are protected when stored during the winter with a motorcycle lift because they are clamped upright. We recommend using a cover to protect your new lift from dust and dirt. So nothing stands in the way of the next season!

You're not a fan of lifts? Then we have a wide selection of motorcycle jacks for you. We recommend using one of our centre stands, such as the Power-Evo from ConStands. This sturdy stand is designed so that you can work on the tyre, fork or engine when it is raised. You can find other alternatives in our shop category ‘assembly stands’.
