The top part is quite well made, but the hinges aren't very sturdy, and one of the two pins is a bit too long. This doesn't affect its functionality, but it doesn't look quite perfect. The chrome plating isn't flawless either. While it's well painted black, the paint is quite delicate and scratches easily. There are no holes for the cushion, so while assembly isn't particularly difficult, it's not exactly easy either, especially for those less handy. I replaced the included screws, and there were even washers missing. Drilling is also required to mount the luggage rack, which is really nice and well-chromed. Overall, a very good product, but not perfect. The inner lining is clearly missing, so the plate inside is visible.

There are no assembly instructions for the backrest (drilling the holes), visible markings of the positions would be desirable.
