Before applying the film, the surface to be covered must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased. A minimum distance of at least 2cm must be maintained for motorcycle luggage cases or textile saddlebags that are to be insulated against the heat source (e.g. exhaust pipe) over a large area with the heat protection film.
